<p>All I&#8217;ve been hearing about lately is this new hot fad that people refer to as the raw food diet. It makes logical sense I guess based on a few things. It&#8217;s not something where you can just have whatever crap you want and get away with it as long as it&#8217;s raw, you need to eat good food raw. That just adds to the fact that cooking food isn&#8217;t natural, you just end up taking a lot of the best part of the food out. So you can see why this diet is growing in popularity as it makes a lot of sense. My food consumption basically requires me to not follow this diet, but I can spot something that would work for someone who could stick to is, and I think we&#8217;ve found a winner. This isn&#8217;t like a diet that tells you to stop eating pasta and lose weight. When I take in information the thing I try to keep in mind is that people shouldn&#8217;t be changing WHAT I think, but rather changing HOW I think by providing a new viewpoint. That&#8217;s how I try to discern what is reasonable and what isn&#8217;t at least.</p>

<p>What you need to keep in mind is that you don&#8217;t want to burn muscle.  The muscle is important because it is what burns the calories.  As your body loses muscle, so does it&#8217;s ability to burn more calories.  It is a good idea to build a little muscle to burn more of the fat.  Can you see why crash diets are such a horrible idea now?  These diets kill the body&#8217;s ability to burn away fat which is exactly what we want.</p>
<p>One last point I want to make is that if the results are not showing up as soon as you want, don&#8217;t give up.  This happens much more often than you realize.
